Course Objective
The aim of the course is to make the students aware of the furniture designing which is an important part of interior design. The history of furniture is also to be introduced and described as the part of the course.
Course Contents
Module I: Furniture design
Introduction to furniture design, Analyzing furniture type, form and designing.
Module II: Furniture materials
Introduction to furniture design materials used.
Module III: Parameters
Analyzing working parameters and visual perception of furniture.
Module IV: Measuring drawing
Measuring drawing of a simple furniture and make it in the workshop, Introduction to various typology of furniture.
